The Repertory Company Theatre presents Always...Patsy Cline, a musical celebrating the beloved Cline as told through the eyes of her real-life number one fan, Louise Seger. Seger, a Houston native, befriended the singer in a Texas honky-tonk in 1957, and continued a correspondence with her until Cline's untimely death at the age of 30 in 1963. The show's title is drawn from Cline's customary letter closing, "Love always, Patsy Cline." Filled with many of the songs that made Cline famous, including "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams," and Cline's ovation-winning chart-topper, "Crazy" (penned by Texan Willie Nelson), this show illustrates the grace and charm that made the country music star an enduring icon. The show runs Friday, April 16 through the 25 at the Promenade Theatre, 650 N. Coit Road, Richardson. Get tickets and more information by calling 972-690-5029 or visiting rcttheatre.com.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: April 16. Continues through April 25, 2010
