It’s hard to decide who has it worse in the world of customer service phone banks — the hapless callers who sit on hold for an eternity only to find unhelpful and extremely surly service reps at the other end of the line, or the reps themselves, who have to put up with stupid questions and crappy entitled jerks who threaten their jobs day in and day out. Hate-filled diatribes to customer service departments are a dime a dozen, but in Hate Mail, a two-man comedy presented by Pegasus Theatre and Churchmouse Productions, the he-said she-said of customer complaints escalates from job loss to rom-com through a series of letters conveyed with quirky cuteness. Catch up on the back and forth correspondence between a dissatisfied rich kid and the artist who loses her job (but ends up finding love) at Hate Mail at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Drive. Tickets are $20 and performances run through August 17. Visit pegasustheatre.org or call 214-821-6005.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Aug. 3. Continues through Aug. 17, 2013
