Bernadette Peters is one of Broadway’s biggest stars. She has won Tony awards, Drama Desk Awards, Outer Critics Circle Awards, appeared on stage, screen and now, in person, for one night only at Bass Performance Hall. Backed by the Fort Worth Symphony, Peters will sing a collection of hits from throughout her career, one that’s included Annie Get Your Gun, Into the Woods, Gypsy and about one million other big-time productions. She’s done non-live stuff, too, including The Jerk, Annie, Ugly Betty, SMASH and, yes, even a Lifetime movie with Harry Connick Jr. Do her talents never end? No, they don’t. She’s recorded six solo albums, written a children’s book and even co-founded an animal charity called Broadway Barks. Seriously. Go see her. She’s an American legend. And she’s here. And those ringlets will be here, too. The show starts at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets range from $19 to $99 and are on sale now at fwsymphony.org.
