Christmas is past and all that happy family Norman Rockwell stuff is done. There’s no question you need to get out to shake your tail feathers a little bit, and there’s no better way to let off some of that post-holiday steam than to buy yourself a stout cocktail and feast your eyes on some serious curves courtesy of the tantalizing, teasin’ ladies of the Ruby Revue Burlesque. The beautifully coiffed and meticulously made-up women up onstage will perform a full-length burlesque show, complete with vaudevillian flourishes and skillful stripteases. See stunning dancers like Angi B. Lovely, Mary Lynn Mayhem, Missy Lisa, Ginger Valentine, Alia and Melissa Meaow plus resident illusionist Confetti Eddie. It’s just exactly the antidote to all that buttoned-down family togetherness, and it’ll go down at the House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St., at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $20 to $40; hit up houseofblues.com.
