The sixth annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit is up and running. The exhibit is like Jurassic Park, but instead of real dinosaurs being cloned out of DNA preserved in a piece of prehistoric amber, it features robotic dinos made out of modern, state-of-the-art materials. The exhibit runs until January 29 and features nine life-size animatronic dinosaurs (there's even a 46-foot Tyrannosaurus rex) on display in the outdoor exhibit at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place, McKinney. The dinosaur trail is stroller and jogging friendly, so bring feel free to come alone and work out your hamstrings or bring the whole family. Call 972-562-5566 or visit heardmuseum.org for more information. The sanctuary is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and children ages 3-12.
