You may think you have the seasons in Dallas figured out, but North Texas weather is a fickle pickle. The city can go from unseasonably warm to crusted over with ice in a matter of days, seemingly irrespective of what month it is. So it’s not really surprising that Dallas Summer Musicals is bringing White Christmas to the Music Hall at Fair Park, 1925 Elm St. Sure it’s December, but it’s also Texas, so why can’t a little summer sneak into the Christmas celebrations? The original 1954 Bing Crosby film is a holiday classic of the highest order, in the Christmas movie pantheon alongside It’s a Wonderful Life and Gremlins. Irving Berlin’s title song is Christmas-y to the point of being cliché now, and even if the stage production is lacking Bing Crosby himself (assuming they don’t dig him up for a cameo), there’s nothing like a live show. Tickets start at $35.25 and Sunday’s show starts at 7:30 p.m. Visit dallassummermusicals.org.
