There are probably fewer groups more enigmatic than the Blue Man Group, or at least as committed to staying in character. You’re never quite sure what they’re trying to convey with their firmly grim-set faces or their wide eyes, but you know it’s provocative, perhaps something about the universal truth humans convey to each other through the liminal space that is musical performance. Or maybe they’re trying to tell you they’re fleeing charges of light treason. Either way, the Blue Man Group plays at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Bass Performance Hall, 525 Commerce St., Fort Worth. So dust off your denim cutoffs, grab yourself a bucket of corn balls and your blandest date and prepare for a night of heavy percussion and some strategic paint splattering. Tickets start at $55 and go to $104.50. For more information and to buy tickets, visit basshall.com.
