Imagine gathering every failed relationship and prospect of unrequited love under one roof for a weekend getaway. Sounds like a great way to spend a vacation, doesn't it? In Neil Simon's Proposals, nine guests of the Hide Family reunion will unexpectedly come face to face with their exes, futures and whatever fling may come. Clemma, the family's housekeeper, narrates the play as she recalls the fateful afternoon in 1953. The show will have more laughs, twists and complications than an episode of The Jerry Springer Show without being quite as trashy. Proposals runs from Friday to May 21st at the Artisan Center Theatre, 418 E. Pipeline Road in Hurst. Tickets range from $7 to $16. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays, and 3 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 817-284-1200 or visit artisanct.com.
