**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED.**
Anna Mitchael grew up in the South, attended the University of Texas and after college moved to Boston, then New York, then Denver, then back home to Texas. But this was not a retreat; or if it was, at least it was a strategic one. In her memoir, Just Don't Call Me Ma'am, Mitchael details her navigation through relationships, an advertising career and the world north of the Mason-Dixon line and somehow manages to grow up at the same time. Or maybe not. Could be chick-lit gold, but as for not being called ma'am, she moved back to the wrong place. Starting at 7 p.m., she will give a reading at Legacy Books in Plano. For more information, visit legacybooksonline.com, or you can read Anna's blog, The Happiness Project, at annamitchael.com.
