Look, we don’t want to jinx anything, but we think it’s finally safe to wear fewer clothes without fear of frostbitten … extremities. (Just mind your ACs, now.) And naturally, spring makes us immediately think of well-choreographed, if not scantily clad, frolics and gravity-defying jubblies. Wait, that’s not everyone? Well, it certainly applies to La Divina Productions, honoring the season and all that is feminine, with the 2014 Spring Swing Burlesque Revue 9 p.m. Saturday at The Kessler, 1230 W. Davis St. The lady of the show, La Divina, will perform, as well as Ruby Joule and Charlotte Truse, but the feature player is Spanish Renaissance woman Medianoche. She’s not just a pinup model; she’s also the 2013 Queen of the New Orleans Burlesque Festival and an instructor of Argentine Tango, so this will be one seriously pro seduction blossoming on stage. Tickets are $25 to $180, available on prekindle.com.
Sat., April 19, 9 p.m., 2014
