There have been several movies about whales lately, but few seem to really show what they do in their day-to-day lives. So the Museum of Nature & Science is screening an IMAX film called, simply, Whales. The film promises to show the lives of several species of whales in their natural environments — and in full IMAX, so the sea behemoths can be experienced in all of their massive glory. Think Free Willy but with more whales and less wall jumping and way less Michael Ironside. The theater is hosting daily showings with tickets for $5 and $6. Call 214-428-5555 or visit natureandscience.org. The Museum of Nature & Science IMAX Theater is at 1318 S. 2nd Avenue in Fair Park.
