If you are one of those people that gets so into St. Patrick’s Day that a parade and block party alone cannot satisfy you, you're in luck. Tonight through Sunday marks the 30 year anniversary of the North Texas Irish Festival. Themed “Harps and Fiddles,” the event showcases native music and food, but also Gaelic sports, a wine bar, and a booth by the Animal Rescue League where you can adopt a furry friend (dogs, cats, AND rabbits) as a souvenir for your weekend spent celebrating the Irish. Friday night is free for those who get in line between 6 and 7 p.m., everyone who arrives later will have to pay up. (Tip: If you get there after 7 p.m. the ticket price is $10, but say the secret code: “Happy 30th” and you'll only be charged $5.) Saturday and Sunday tickets range $15 to $20. Visit www.ntif.org for more details.
