Mmm, mmm, good! Taste Addison is back, and I don't mind if I do. Skip out on dinner the night before, grab your Tums and head out to Addison Circle Park. This three-day event will showcase more than 50 of Addison's 170 restaurants, offering sample menu items at special prices. The Melting Pot, Chamberlain's Steak and Chophouse, and Chipotle Mexican Grill are three of the vendors scheduled to educate (and feed!) you. Oh, baby. Badass bartenders from Sherlock's will entertain with their flair bartending exhibition--they'll spin, throw and balance various cocktail-making accoutrements--and several wineries will also be present. Need to let things digest? Take a seat in front of the outdoor stage, and unwind to the music of Texas natives Jack Ingram and The Old 97's (May 8) or Foreigner and Bowling for Soup (May 9). Kiddos are welcome too! Just let them ride the Ferris wheel before they go a-tasting. The event will run from Friday through Sunday. Admission is $5 to 10, but discounted tickets can be purchased at area Tom Thumbs. Addison Circle Park is located at 4970 Addison Circle Drive.
