If your annual viewing of A Christmas Story (the high) is usually ruined by screaming relatives and the smell of burnt turkey (oh, so low), we’re here to offer you a reprieve. Before you get trapped in familial hell with nary a leg lamp in sight, you can head over to the Cliff and see everyone’s favorite Christmas movie in awesome 35mm. Aunt Clara’s pink bunny pajamas are always welcome, but leave your Red Ryder BB gun at home if you want to join your real family at the Texas Theatre, 231 W. Jefferson Blvd. Screenings start Thursday. Tickets are $9.50, with discount tickets available for members, students, seniors and bike riders.
