If any athlete deserves a $1 million-plus prize, it’s rodeo cowboys and cowgirls. They voluntarily get on the backs of animals that can break bones in their bodies they didn’t know they had. The worst obstacle that even the biggest and toughest defensive football players have to go up against is Peyton Manning, whose only defense against a rampaging linebacker is to fumble the ball. The 10 greatest bucking bronco and bull riders in the world will finally get the chance to compete for the $2 million they deserve at The American Rodeo on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The event is the second day of rodeo action at the stadium this weekend. On Saturday, the Professional Bull Riders Association’s Iron Cowboy V will feature professional bull riders competing in a bracket-style competition for a $150,000 total purse. Iron Cowboy begins at 5:50 p.m. Saturday and the rodeo starts at 1 p.m. Sunday. A wide range of ticket prices for either event can be found at TicketMaster, with combo tickets for both events $265.66. AT&T Stadium is located at 1 AT&T Way in Arlington.
