If you thought the gist of “happy hour” was already beyond reproach, Sfuzzi Uptown has inexplicably improved upon the concept. The philanthropic organization, Make My Day Mondays (MMDM) jaunts down to Texas for the first time Monday to benefit local charity Heroes for Children at the beloved haunt at 2533 McKinney Ave. For a suggested minimum donation of $20, guests will enjoy complimentary pizza and extended happy hours — 6 to 8 p.m. — on Sfuzzi’s legendary patio, with proceeds assisting Texas families with children fighting cancer. There will also be a raffle, with prizes provided by local sports teams and area shops and restaurants. Donate at the door or online at mmdmdallas.eventbrite.com. Call 512-762-3235 or visit makemydaymondays.com for more details.
