Teen celluloid king Ferris Bueller said, "If you stuck a lump of coal up [his best friend Cameron's] ass, in two weeks you'd have a diamond." Now that's one way to make 'em, but in the English countryside the dastardly Otto von Brunno and his mistress have as their hostage Professor Fenton...who just so happens to have a slightly different recipe for creating synthetic diamonds. Can the detective "genius" of private dick Bullshot Crummond save Fenton's carat-creatin' hide? Find out as Richardson Theatre Centre presents its parody of 1930s detective flicks (replete with car chases, sword fights and a good many laugh-out-louds). Bullshot Crummond takes the stage Friday through July 28 at 2701 N. Custer Parkway in Richardson. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays with 3 p.m. Sunday matinees on July 1 and July 15. Tickets are $12 to $15. Call 972-699-1130 or visit richardsontheatrecentre.org.
