Some of the best weekends I spent with my granny involved a kid's meal at Burger King, late night Lifetime movies and a long afternoon at the McKinney Flea Market. Nothing really beat a few new Mr. Potato Head pieces and a giant, sugar-coated funnel cake. Now downtown is taking a weekend to offer a unique, upscale flea market composed of Texas-based businesses, designers and entrepreneurs ranging from chocolate-makers to jewelry artists. The Dallas Flea will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at South Side on Lamar, located at 1409 S. Lamar St. Admission is $5. For more information, go to thedallasflea.com.
