Ahh, the perennial excuse for doing drag--the man in the nun's habit. It's the old standby for a guy to get in touch with his feminine side without tucking anything away or using makeup and high heels. And if it's for comedy's sake, well then, it's going to be hilarious, right? That's what the Eisemann Center people are hoping for this holiday season with Sister's Christmas Catechism--The Mystery of the Magi's Gold. In this episode, Sister gets her CSI on by using forensic to figure out, yep, the mystery of the magi gold. And be prepared. Along her search, she'll be using audience members as she rebuilds the Nativity scene to resolve her case. This would definitely be the day to consider wearing that reindeer sweater grandma made for your stage debut. You won't get that at The Nutcracker. Sister's Christmas Catechismâ--The Mystery of the Magi's Gold runs Tuesday through December 21 with matinee shows next Saturday and Sunday at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson. Tickets are $33 to $39. Call 972-744-4650 or visiting eisemanncenter.com.
