The Paul Taylor Dance Company is the same gaggle of jumpin' jacks that brought Dream Girls to the Eisemann Center in 2002 and maintained a "gold standard of modern dance" after that. Their title upkeep will continue when the Paul Taylor Dance Company opens the 2010-11 Eisemann Center Presents' Spotlight Series. The company's show will feature performances of Company B, Brief Encounters and the world premiere of a new work. The performance takes place 8 p.m. Saturday and tickets are $30 to $60 at eisemanncenter.com. There will be a rehearsal earlier that afternoon at 2:30 p.m. It's free with admission, but $10 if you're not sticking around for the public performance. A Master Class will be open for a limited number of advanced dancers at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Bank of America Theatre. Call 972-744-4650. To participate is $20, but you can observe for $5. The Charles W. Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson.
