If you're anything like me, you weren't alive in the '60s. You never shook hands with President Kennedy or attended (the original) Woodstock, and touch-tone phones totally predate you. And, perhaps most important of all, you never saw the Rat Pack live in Las Vegas, you poor, poor soul. (I'm honestly starting to feel sorry for you.) But lament your existence no more, friend, for now you can celebrate the most well-lit of holidays with Frank, Dean and Sammy! The hit musical Christmas With the Rat Pack--Live at The Sands (which dazzled London audiences) is playing at The Majestic, 1925 Elm St., through December 12. This Dallas Summer Musicals show is a holiday version of the original The Rat Pack--Live at The Sands, and while it won't be the real, actual members of the Rat Pack performing for you, you'll definitely be transported back to the "high jinks and horseplay" of the boys at the Sands Hotel. I just hope they have their trusty onstage liquor cart close at hand. Tickets are $15 to $65 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com. For more information about the show, call 214-880-0137, or visit dallassummermusicals.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m.; Thu., Dec. 10, 2 p.m. Starts: Dec. 1. Continues through Dec. 12, 2009
