The bars in Uptown have typically not been known for exemplary bar food, as most stay well within the confines of burgers and things topped with melted cheese. So&So bucks this trend with its new McKinney Avenue dining room. Sure, there’s a burger on the menu, and even pizza, but the majority of the dishes lean toward upper-crust dining. Don’t pass on the pork chop. It’s cooked perfectly and paired with cream cheese grits and little figs. A roasted avocado for snacking with chips and a number of desserts will leave you with the impression this place is as much a place to eat as it is to drink.
