Pyramid Restaurant & Bar

The Fairmont Hotel, one of the finest places to stay in the Arts District, has a bar to match. The Pyramid Bar, located just a few steps inside the front door, is shrouded in the hotel's golden beige. The space, set apart from the hotel only by its wooden floor, features an open lounge area and long marble bartop. On a recent visit, after noticing the extensive cocktail menu, we asked the woman working the bar if she had any mezcal. “We do, but I don't know why anyone would want to drink it,” she chuckled. “Good point,” we thought, and ordered a beer. There were about six on tap, the high cost of which matches the decadence of the hotel.
