The School of Contemporary Ballet Dallas

If your childhood fantasies of doing jumps and twirls in a pink tutu went sadly unfulfilled, there’s always room for you at this Mockingbird Lane dance studio, which was founded by a group of SMU dance alumni. They offer classes for all age ranges from toddler to adult, and all experience levels (from “I saw Bla ck Swan in the theater three times” to budding Julliard students). Besides ballet, there are also modern dance, barre, Zumba, tap and even African dance accompanied by live drums.
