Until this year, Bob Seger was one of the last holdouts in the digital music arena. That finally changed, but don't think his live show will be out of touch, especially since he's still going strong at age 66. He's touring with his Silver Bullet Band, promoting a new greatest-hits package, Ultimate Hits: Rock and Roll Never Forgets.
The big hits are pretty much what you can expect from the Detroit institution. Whether it's "Night Moves," "Mainstreet" or "Roll Me Away," this is working-class rock all the way. And whether an audience member was introduced to him via an eight-track tape, a Chevy commercial, Beverly Hills Cop II or Metallica's cover of "Turn the Page," his material reaches all ages.
