Salim Nourallah was born in Illinois but he is as deeply embedded in the fabric of this area's music as anyone. He's lived in North Texas for 25 years and in that time, played in several notable bands and released a handful of acclaimed solo albums. As a producer he's helped shape plenty of the biggest voices in town: He's the man behind much of the Old 97's catalog as well as records by Smile Smile, Buttercup, Deathray Davies and more.
