This is not your everyday Billboard chart. Each week, we'll tell you which bands are selling in the fine record shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, where we consumers of music have impeccable taste.

"Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds rightfully take the top three spots this week with their excellent release Push The Sky Away." says Good Records Sales Associate Mark Church. "Goat, our number nine entry, is a good psyche record from a Swedish band with a back story involving a small Swedish village with a voodoo curse and other strangeness. The story may or may not be true, but the music is good."

Lance Price, CD Source owner, suggests picking up an album by local artist Bradley James for staying in and avoiding the cold weather. "We had an in-store with Bradley James on Saturday, which was the main reason behind his sales," says Price. "I really like his new EP. He is inspired by classic artists such as Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole and the Beatles. His music sounds both fresh and very smooth, and Peter Frampton's keyboardist produced it. It's good music to listen to by the fireplace if it stays cold."

"The Breakfast Club LP in white vinyl was part of a soundtracks series released for Record Store Day last April," says Price. "It also included Pretty in Pink , pink vinyl of course, and Empire Records in gold vinyl. They have all continued to be steady sellers for us."
