There's no denying that we've done a whole lot of talking about Eisley lately. In a recent story in the print edition, we went back--way back--to the exciting beginnings of the Tyler-based family band, and tracked the ups and downs that have led them to where they are now. After a huge record deal with Warner Bros that ended sour, and a slough
of personal and professional hold-ups, the band hit rock bottom. But now
they're back and ready to start fresh.
With a clean slate, a newly penned record deal with New York indie label Equal Vision Records, and a bright future ahead, today Eisley announced the release date for their long awaited third full-length record The Valley. According the band's press release, it'll drop on Tuesday, March 1, on Equal Vision Records. Check out the album artwork above.
Leading up to the release, the band hopes to generate some buzz with a big, fat month-long US tour with power-pop act Rooney, who will be the most appropriate touring mates the band has had since they hopped on board 2003's A Rush Of Blood To The Head Tour with Coldplay.
And if that's not enough Eisley information for you, check out the bonus MP3 for the album closer "Ambulance" from the forthcoming album after the jump.
