The Associated Press reports this morning that Erykah Badu paid the $500 fine imposed upon her by the Dallas Police Department's disorderly conduct charge on Friday--a fine that came in the wake her "Window Seat" video's film shoot, which saw the native R&B star stripping until nude at Dealey Plaza, before eventually collapsing at the spot of President John F. Kennedy's assassination.

Her March 13 payment comes just five days after the release of her remixed "Widow Seat" video featuring Rick Ross, and, coincidentally (or not?), five months to the day after Badu filmed the original take. In addition to the fine, Badu has also received six months probation.

Badu's camp has no comment on the matter at this time, although one source close to the singer was unaware, even, of the payment taking place: "That's news to me."
