Say, remember when Papa Roach hit single "Last Resort" had us contemplating suicide and thinking that nothing was all right or fine? Good times. The band has come a long way four albums and 10 years later, settling into hard rock without the mediocre rhymes.

You know what else is cool, though? Area drum god Vinnie Paul's new band HELLYEAH!, which has a new album coming this summer. Yours truly got talk to Vinnie about the run up to the new disc. We also covered their tour dates and album announcement.

That's why we're excited that the Palladium is letting us give away three pairs of tickets to see Papa Roach, Hellyeah, 12 Stones and Seasons at the Ballroom tonight. Want free access to the show? OK: Just be among the first three to email Pete with the phrase "Hell yeah, Roaches" in the subject line. And, since these are hard copy tickets, not will call passes, please be sure that, if you enter, you'll be able to stop by our offices and pick up the tickets (our offices are located on the seventh floor of 2501 Oak Lawn Ave.) by the time our reception desk closes at 5:30 p.m. OK? OK. Good luck.

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
