San Fransisco-based indie pop act Bird's & Batteries is not just your average band following the times and trying to make some bland electro-rock. No, this band's indie pop-rock finds a home in the in the wild and mixes in the kind of electronic synths that can be heard in Animal Collective's output.

But what may be most striking about Birds & Batteries, who boast their fair share of area connections, is their beautiful vocal harmonies and the strikingly clear voice of lead singer Michael Sempert -- uncommon in a genre dominated by overly reverberated vocals.

This weekend, the band is making a few stops throughout the region -- they played Lochrann's in Frisco last night, will play Lola's in Fort Worth tonight, and, tomorrow, will play the annual Spune Christmas show at Hailey's Club in Denton. And thanks to the folks at Spune, we've got a pretty cool Birds & Batteries prize pack to hand out for tomorrow night's show to one lucky DC9 reader.

In addition to a free pair of tickets to tomorrow's show, which also features Telegraph Canyon, Seryn, Doug Burr, Glen Farris and Austin's Monahans, the winner will also receive a CD copy of Birds & Batteries' new album, Panorama, as well as as the 12" vinyl (which comes w/ download card), the band's current tour poster and, to boot, a postcard. That's a lot of stuff. See how to win everything after the jump.

Want the prizes? Just be the first person to email Pete with the word's "Eagles & Energy" in the subject line, and you got the stuff. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner!
