OK, yes, we've been blowing up Sarah Jaffe this past week, but with good reason. It's all in anticipation of her album, Suburban Nature, which earns it's release on Friday, May 14 at the Son's Of Hermann Hall. She's not the only one we've been blowing up this week, though.
Check out some of this weekend's other shows that we've mentioned earlier this week...
On Friday, The Beaten Sea, Dust Congress and Fox & The Bird folk around at the Doublewide for The Beaten Sea's album release.
On Saturday, The Burning Hotels, Air Review, The Bright Light Social Hour, and The Tellevators bring some new wave to The Boiler Room. At the Granada Theater that same night, Minus The Bear, Everest, and Young The Giant will get all art rocky. And, also that night, Harlem, Flight, and PVC Street Gang will turn the City Tavern into a garage.
On Sunday at House Of Blues, Cherry Poppin' Daddies and The Ruby Revue will relive one of music's worst fads-- swing music.
More of this weekend's shows after the jump...

Nico Vega, Red Leaves, Ella MinnowSaturday, May 15
Sunday, May 16, at Hailey's
Like 'em or hate 'em, Nico Vega puts on a heck of a
rock show.
Rick Springfield

Springfield has made the transition from
