By now, your Halloween-themed events roster is getting a little lengthy, but if you have time to squeeze in one more, let it be Good Sons and Pinkish Black. What started as a sporadic Nick Cave tribute band in the early 2000s — and included Warren Jackson Hearne, Will Kapinos (Dim Locator) and Sean Kirpatrick (Nervous Curtains) — has aged with grace into a decade-old tradition. "Every year I would get a group of fellow Nick fans together around Halloween time to pay tribute for a few shows, and then disband for another year," says Good Sons lead singer Wanz Dover, who is also in local band The Black Dotz. They will perform material pulled heavily from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' first live album, Live Seeds.
