And, if boss man is on his game, he'll tell you what you really need to fill that little void is to see I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness. Lucky for you, their invite to the Curiosa was lost in the mail, which means you get to hear these ass-shaking dark-chocolate confections in the friendly confines of Denton's Hailey's. This Austin band trades tequila shots with the likes of Trail of Dead and Spoon (whose Britt Daniel produced their self-titled Emperor Jones debut EP), but their chimey, biting guitar sound is more in tune with Interpol, and even a bit like Mr. Rob Smith's own mood-rock outfit. Electralane opens.
