The infamous, mostly deadly, 20-inch snake that vanished from a Bronx Zoo's Reptile House five days ago (and may or may not have created a Twitter account in the process) was captured this afternoon. According to the Huffington Post, the thin snake was found in a off-exhibit area inside the Reptile House.

So, perhaps he hadn't wandered to Yankee Stadium as some tweets had implied.

Either way, the snake's masterful, elusive jailbreak has inspired us to create a playlist of sorts for the Bronx Zoo Cobra. May you not be deterred by your capture, and find a way to freedom someway down the line. Just don't eat any babies!

And remember: You're the best around. Nothing's going to ever keep you down. Listen to your playlist after the jump.

10. "Jailbreak" - Thin Lizzy

Though you've been captured, we hope for your safe return and a speedy return to freedom. Again, just don't eat any human babies -- please.

9. "Cold Hearted Snake" - Paula Abdul

We don't think your heart's cold, Bronx Cobra, but we figured commiseration with snake-titled songs would assuage your pain.

8. "Snake Farm" - Ray Wylie Hubbard

You'll need a little mysterious blues-y guitar while you're in the can. We imagine you chopping rocks with a pick axe to this tune. Even though you don't have arms.

7. "Get Free" - The Vines

The Vines know how to swing for the fences, too.

6. "Break on Through (To The Other Side)" - The Doors

A little acid-washed jailbreak music might pump you up.

5. "Danger Zone" - Kenny Loggins

What sentient being wouldn't get juiced listening to "Danger Zone"?

4. "No Easy Way Out" - Robert Tepper

See the above statement (times 1000).

3. "Here I Go Again" - Whitesnake

A great rock song. But you're never alone, Bronx Cobra. Especially now that you've been captured.

2. "Runaway" - Bon Jovi

Because it would have been tacky and rude to use "Hit the Road Jack."

1. "Hold On" - Wilson Phillips

A poignant end to our list, thanks to Wilson Phillips.
