Muse, Dead Sara Wednesday, March 13, at American Airlines Center, $36.50-$61.50 Well, we all knew it was coming. After October's The 2nd Law dropped, and, of course, after being unable to escape the "Madness" single no matter how far from civilization one ventured, we all knew it was only a matter of time before the English space rockers hit the dusty trail. Here they are. See them (and their apparently spectacular light shows) with hard rock opener Dead Sara this spring. It might even cure that whole song-stuck-in-the-head ailment you've been having.

Wale Tuesday, January 29, at House of Blues, $30 Just two weeks ago up-and-comer rapper Wale released his eighth mixtape, Folarin, featuring heavy hitters like Rick Ross and 2 Chainz. Let's see if he pulls out all of the stops for his live shows too.

Caspian, Junius Sunday, February 24, at Dada, $10 Parade of Flesh is leading a good show next month with instrumental post-rock fivesome Caspian, who are setting sail after their newest LP from Triple Crown Records, Waking Season. See the band with their childhood buddies, the fellow Boston-bred prog rock foursome Junius.

Danko Jones Wednesday, March 6, at Palladium Ballroom, $28.50-$33.00 Since the mid '90s, Canadian rock trio Danko Jones has had no problem climbing its way up the proverbial ladder of commercial success. These days it's not uncommon to hear their stuff on Budweiser and Ford commercials. See them as they hit the road with Denmark's fusion group Volbeat and hardcore boys Spoken.

Major Lazer Monday, March 11, at House of Blues, $25 Laser lights and smoke machines galore will accompany the eclectic dance beats of beat master DJ Diplo this spring. Expect to hear material from his upcoming February release, Free the Universe. If you have a condition, I'd say you should sit this one out.

The Black Crowes Thursday, April 25, at House of Blues, $58.50 Bluesy Southern rockers The Black Crowes haven't released an album since 2010's Croweology, but they've hit the road anyway, and are making a stop in Dallas this April. A few weeks before they arrive in Big D they plan to release a live vinyl album, Wiser for the Time, showcasing the group's five-night, sold-out NYC performances in the fall of 2010.
