Back in February, just as revered area folk-rock duo The O's were gearing up to release Between The Two, their much-anticipated second release, Taylor Young and John Pedigo released a music video for their album's lead single, "We'll Go Walking." The clip, we were told at the time, was to be just the first of a planned whopping 12 music videos the band was working on -- one for every song on the new album.
Some touring has clearly gotten in the way of these plans -- last week, the duo finally released their second music video from the album, for the song "Wreckin' Ball." It's a fun clip, if only because it reinforces the bromantic stylings of Young and Pedigo, while featuring some top-notch Dallas dwelling spots in the AllGood Cafe and The Libertine in its settings.
More impressive, though, is the fact that the fellas say they still plan on releasing 12 videos for Between The Two. Well, two down, 10 to go.

Just a couple of weeks after releasing their light graffiti-intensive and self-made music video for "Crossroads (IGYCSTAGPS)," Forever The Sickest Kids is back with another self-made music video, this time for "Summer Song," which the band had released as a free download late in June. The new clip finds the band doing appropriately summer-y things, like hanging out at the beach, climbing sand dunes, skipping rocks, and going to amusement parks, lighting fireworks and filming it all on 8mm film. Editing it, too!
Best summer ever, dudes.
Fort Worth native Andrew Kenny, formerly of American Analog Set, has a new album called Two Matchsticks out these days on Barsuk Records. Released under his newer The Wooden Birds moniker, the disc finds Kenny, a former Broken Social Scene and Death Cab for Cutie collaborator, once again working with Death Cab's Ben Gibbard, who makes some guest appearances on the new disc.
Late last week, Kenny's band released the above stop-animation music video for the album's lead single and title track. Good stuff, for sure. Unfortunately, the band doesn't have any area tour dates scheduled as of yet. We'll let you know if that changes. For now, the video will have to suffice.
