Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock christened the Wyly Theatre's concert stage Tuesday night (they're the first non-Shakespearean act to play the new theater, at least), wrapping up the Flatlanders' latest tour with Ryan Bingham and a slate of other friends helping out. "Dallas," of course, was the biggest number of the night, with Ely taking the lead vocals, Gilmore on the "woman who'll walk on you when you're down" verse, and Hancock singing on "the rich man with a death wish in his eye."
