If there was a contest to find the most tricked-up music festival in Dallas this summer, the winner, even on the season's cluttered calender, might be the Rock This Town Music Festival, June 23 through June 27, at La Grange and The Belmont Hotel. Really: The whole thing sounds more like a grown-up summer camp than it does a music festival.

Anyway, the festival, which bounces back and forth between the two host venues' Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff locations respectively, will feature live performances from Fastball, Boys Named Sue and others, DJs, a Guitar Hero contest, a movie night, and even a pool party.

Tickets ain't cheap--they'll cost ya $100 for a VIP package, $60 for a five-night package, or $10 for each individual night passes good for every night except for Saturday, which is $60. But it's for a good cause: All the proceeds will benefit the Love Hope Strength Foundation and Children's Medical Center.

Check the lineup, in a nutshell, after the jump.

Wednesday, June 23, at La Grange
James Chippendale will host a screening of his 80's rock doc, "Everest Rock," followed by a DJ set from our own Pete Freedman.

Thursday, June 24, at The Belmont Hotel
Live acoustic performances with Jackie Leigh and Miles Zuniga of Fastball.

Friday, June 25, at LaGrange
NBC5 is putting on their second annual Guitar Hero Championship, followed by a performance by Jokersdeck.

Saturday, June 26, at LaGrange
Live performances with Fastball, Boys Named Sue, Backporch Mary, Le Cure, and Grant Jones And The Pistol Grip Lassos.

Sunday, June 27, at The Belmont Hotel
The festival ends with a pool party at The Belmont Hotel featuring a DJ set from Jennifer Miller & Paul Paredes.
