We thought we'd takea chance to talk about a couple of our personal favorite topics -- hair metal and video vixens. Warrant's "Cherry Pie" video, along with being an editing masterpiece that serves as one of the highlights of the band's career, featured Bobbie Brown, one of the '80s most memorable video vixens.

Scantily clad girls are a great way to get people to watch your video; although thousands of videos have used this tactic, a few rise to the top of the heap as the most memorable. So, to that end, we've collected a list of the 10 most memorable video vixens of all time.

Click on the jump for the list.

10. Amber Rose (Ludacris, "What Them Girls Like"). Although she's probably more famous for her love life, Amber stands out in the crowd of girls in this video because of her distinctive buzz cut. Gorgeous bald chicks capture our attention, and Amber, with her perfect body and face, is no exception.

9. Rachel Hunter (Fountains of Wayne, "Stacy's Mom").
Although Hunter became famous in the '80s as the model wife of Rod Stewart, her turn as the cougar-licious mom who gains the unrequited affections of this Fountains of Wayne song's tween narrator made her a video vixen legend. Although Stacy's mom is supposed to be a hot older lady, Hunter was a mere 34 years old when this video was shot, proving that the term "cougar" really is relative.

8. Buffie "The Body" Carruth (Tony Yayo/50 Cent, "So Seductive").
Buffie is the rare hip-hop vixen who got featured as the main muse in this video. There's no real way to say this delicately, so we'll just go ahead and state for the record that Buffie has a gigantic behind (prominently tattooed with the word "tasty"). Her, umm, assets have garnered her an appropriately sizable following.

7. Karrine Steffans (Jay-Z, "Big Pimpin'"). Steffans has also appeared in videos by LL Cool J and R Kelly, but what makes her most memorable is that she wrote several best-selling books about being a hip-hop video chick, including Confessions of a Video Vixen. Karrine spoke out against sexism in hip-hop after her video career ended, appearing on Oprah to talk about her experience.

6. Alicia Silverstone (Aerosmith, "Crazy"). Before Clueless, Alicia was a frequent sight in Aerosmith videos from the early to mid '90s. This video, which also starred Steven Tyler's daughter Liv, is probably more memorable than the song itself. The plot is kind of like a sexy Thelma and Louise, without the bloodshed.

5. Tawny Kitaen (Whitesnake, "Here I Go Again"). Tawny was in several Whitesnake videos. As was par for the course at the time, she got the gig by dating frontman David Coverdale. They were married for a mere two years before they divorced, and, after a second failed marriage -- this time to Major League Baseball pitcher Chuck Finley -- Tawny eventually evolved into the plastic-surgery Celebrity Rehab mess we know and love her as today. Still, her car-hood acrobatics in the "Here I Go Again" are how she'll always be remembered.

4. Helena Christensen (Chris Isaak, "Wicked Game"). Christensen was already a supermodel by the time she appeared in this video. But her turn as a well-oiled seductress running on the sand secured her a place in music history, as well.

3. Bobbie Brown (Warrant, "Cherry Pie"). This video is an editing masterwork, but who's paying attention to editing when you've got Bobbie licking pie off her fingers? After meeting on the set of the "Cherry Pie" video, 21-year-old Bobbie and singer Jani Lane ended up getting married. After divorcing Jani, Bobbie hooked up with Tommy Lee and Mark McGrath, among others, making her the government-cheese version of Pamela Anderson as far as serial dating of '80s rockers goes.

2. Melyssa Ford (Jay-Z, "Big Pimpin'", Sisquo "Thong Song", Usher "Yeah!"). Melyssa Ford stands out for, um, let's say a couple of reasons. Her exact measurements have been the topic of debate for years, but let's suffice it to say that they're astonishing. There's a reason why she's so frequently been cast in videos for songs with a posterior-related theme. Also, Melyssa had one of the longest video vixen careers on this list, appearing in videos from 1997 til 2004.

1. Janet Jones (Van Halen, "Hot for Teacher"). Janet, who's been married to National Hockey League legend Wayne Gretzky since the mid-'80s, might actually be more famous for her role as the sexy teacher who made David Lee Roth get out his pencil in Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher" music video. The rest of her career has included such gems as Police Academy 5. No, her video vixen career didn't last very long, but her turn in "Teacher" is inextricably seared into the minds of a generation.
