West, Texas, dealt with a tragedy last week and found itself in a very big spotlight. But the world will think about other things, and there is still so much work to be done restoring West. Damage from the fertilizer plant explosion is likely to exceed $100 million, and there are hundreds still in hospitals. Adair Grain, Inc. -- the owner of the plant -- will end up paying for some amount of that, but there will still be displaced families and enormous medical expenses and lost business for months and years to come.

You can help by heading to the AT&T Performing Arts Center this Sunday, where more than a half-dozen venues and music industry groups in Dallas are coming together to present a benefit concert. The lineup includes Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights, Somebody's Darling, Vaden Lewis of the Toadies playing an acoustic set, The O's, Goodnight Ned and more. All proceeds benefit the victims.

Update, 4/26: If you buy the $20 tickets at Good Records on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be free beer you can bring. You're also welcome to just BYOB. Additionally, there will be Kolaches delivered fresh from the legendary Czech stop in West for sale. We also have the set times -- you can see that below.
