At first glance, it's cool that a former Dallas Maverick is up for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. What's that I say? Don't tell me you forgot that Adrian Dantley played a whopping 76 games here after the trading of Mark Aguirre in 1989. Well, he did.

The announcement will come April 2 during the Final Four in Atlanta. But seriously, isn't it a shame that Dick Motta or Don Nelson or Rolando Blackman or Chris Anstey or even Mavs Man isn't representing us in the hall? Our first home-grown HOF'er will be Dirk Nowitzki, who just might also be our first MVP.
