"We're so much more than Dallas the TV show," says a Dallas tourism rep in a story that I swear I read back in 1987. Only, nope, it's from today -- in a Chicago Tribune by way of Kansas City Star piece about how Dallas is still trying to recover from the J.R. Ewing drinking binge that last 13 seasons. Also mentioned: big hair, cowboys, the Kennedy assassination and the city's attempt to get the movie Dallas shot in Dallas -- timely! Tiny error too: Dallas was recently repped not on the Today show, but on Good Morning America. But you already knew that. And you were none too pleased about it. --Robert Wilonsky
