On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Texas Centennial Exposition at Fair Park, which opened on June 6, 1936, Friend of Unfair Park PeterK espied this one-of-a-kind keepsake up for grabs on eBay courtesy Minneapolis-based seller "celluloid": a bronze coin commemorating the 1894 Texas State Fair. That was but nine years after the opening of the Dallas State Fair and Exposition and a full decade before, as Willis Winters writes in his invaluable history, "the Texas State Fair was reorganized and renamed the State Fair of Texas."

A steal at $25.94, though there are four days of bidding left. Perfect for that looooong-discussed museum at Fair Park. Or as a poker card guard.
