Several Friends of Unfair Park have asked this morning when oh when will we post the great Jun Kang's short film Last Night at the Metro, made specially for the Dallas International Film Festival. Um, now? As I understand it, a trimmed-down version will play before DIFF screenings -- since, after all, such promo-intros are de rigueur for festivals and occasionally lead to big deals for the short's makers. The guy in it is Josh Blaylock, who you may remember from No Country For Old Men; the girl, WUSS's Rebekah Kennedy. Also starring: the Texas Theatre and the best diner in town that has but days left to live. My, what a beautiful city.
