Two years back there was talk of Dallas getting a Women's Professional Soccer franchise, whose roster would be filled out with players from the U.S. Women's National Team. And then ... nothing. But just yesterday, Sports Illustrated's Jeff Kassouf noted that the league, which has seen two teams fold in recent months, still hopes to expand, and Dallas and Los Angeles are "leading candidates" to get teams. Matter of fact, writes Kassouf: "Members of a potential ownership group seeking to bring a team to Dallas were in Pennsylvania two weeks ago to tour the Philadelphia Independence's facilities and talk more seriously about acquiring a 2012 expansion team."

Once again, Hope Solo's more than welcome. So too her brother.
