Just a quick reminder for those in need of Saturday-morning plans: Tomorrow at 9:30 is the West Dallas "dreaming session" at the St. Mary of Carmel Community Center on Vilbig Road. Actually, since last we discussed this date, the event -- featuring "the man who built Vancouver" and currently serves as special adviser to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as the day's star attraction -- now has a proper moniker: "West Dallas: A Time to Dream." Though, for something so floridly titled, the description's terribly uninviting: "Community dialogue that begins to lay out the vision for the area bounded by Sylvan Avenue to the west, the Trinity River to the north and east, and Interstate 30 to the south and identifies concerns regarding the area's development." Take it away, Amy Speace covering Blondie!
