Dallas school board trustee Ron Price made it official at 3:44 p.m. on January 30, when he turned into the City Secretary's Office paperwork announcing that he's running for Carolyn Davis's District 7 seat on the Dallas City Council. (Ex-City Manager Richard Knight Jr., now in the waste disposal business, is serving as Price's treasurer.) Two weeks before filing, Price launched a YouTube channel called EveryChildCounts2009, which features news clips featuring Price that date back to 1994, three years before he became a trustee.
