Till a Friend of Unfair Park mentioned the astounding convergence of events on Saturday, I wasn't sure I was going to attend Hillary Clinton's rally at Fair Park, scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. with doors to the Fair Park Coliseum opening at 1 p.m. Might take the kid, who thinks there's a candidate running by the name of "Obama Clinton," and, hey, who knows. Actually, there's no doubt about it now: I'm in, as our Friend points out that beginning tomorrow through Sunday, Fair Park's also hosting the North Texas Irish Festival, where beer and wine sales ain't cutting off till an hour before the 11:30 p.m. closing time on Saturday. And what's a good political rally without a pint or 19? --Robert Wilonsky
