(Editor's Note) On February 10, 2011, Traffick911 issued the following press release detailing the involvement of a coalition of more than 50 organizations that sought to "combat potential sex trafficking" at this year's Super Bowl activities. This press release reveals the results of the coalition's efforts. Traffick911 hosted the coalition and maintained a command center that monitored numerous web sites, including backpage.com. The Dallas Observer and backpage.com are owned by the same parent company, Village Voice Media Holdings. Many of these groups have called for the shuttering of backpage.com and the adult services listed therein.
